# Leadership coach: why your offer is not selling
*Reading time : 6 min · Offer & Positioning · 2026-05-16*
**In short :** Coach en leadership, des appels mais peu de oui ? Passe ton offre au crible de quatre questions pour trouver le maillon qui bloque, avant de tout changer.

## How this article unfolds

1. Check visibility first — Calls without signatures point to the offer; no calls point to your presence.
2. Filter the offer — Four questions rule out false leads: words, result, moment, format.
3. Fix a single link — Change one element at a time so you know what unlocked sales.
4. Listen to the next calls — Three or four calls show whether the objections change.

---
When a leadership coach's offer does not sell, it is almost always stuck on one link: the problem is not named in the client's own words, the result is vague, the buying moment is missing, or the format does not fit her life. Find that link before you switch channels or drop your price.

## Is it the offer or your visibility?

An offer is the promise of a specific change, for a specific person, within a specific frame: length, format and price. When one of these is missing, the person in front of you cannot decide.

Check one thing first. Are people telling you about their situation, booking calls, asking questions? If yes, visibility works and the offer is the issue. If nobody contacts you, start with your presence, not your offer. The typical sign of a stuck offer: pleasant calls, people saying it sounds really interesting, then I will think about it, then silence.

## Four questions to diagnose your leadership coaching offer

**1. Is the problem named in her words?** Developing your leadership means nothing to an overwhelmed manager. She says she cannot delegate, her team does not respect her like her predecessor, she carries everything and goes home exhausted. If your page talks about presence, alignment and potential, she will not feel it is for her.

**2. Can the result be seen in her week?** Gaining confidence compares to nothing. Running a hard meeting calmly, giving feedback without conflict, or leaving the office on time because the team moves forward without her: those are results she can picture.

**3. Are you targeting the right moment?** People look for a leadership coach at a turning point: a new role, a promotion, a restructure, a return from leave, a growing conflict. An offer that names the moment answers an urgency she already feels.

**4. Does the format fit her life?** Your clients pay for coaching themselves and have busy schedules. Two-hour weekday sessions or a year-long commitment upfront can put off someone who is already convinced.

## Fix one link at a time

- Problem badly named: rewrite your opening with three phrases you heard on discovery calls.
- Vague result: replace each abstract promise with a scene from her life at the end of the programme.
- No moment: say who it is for, right now.
- Wrong format: offer a shorter first commitment or times that suit a busy manager.

Then watch your next three or four calls. Do the objections change? Do people come back faster with a decision?

Do not cut your price as a first reflex: a vague offer does not become clear by becoming cheaper. And do not switch platforms every hard month. Diagnosis always starts with your client's words. If you want to review your offer together and find the stuck link, book a call.
## Frequently asked questions

**Why is my leadership coaching offer not selling?**

It is usually stuck on one link: the problem is not phrased in the client's words, the result is too vague, the turning point such as a new role or conflict is not named, or the format does not fit a manager's schedule.

**Should I lower my price if my coaching offer is not selling?**

Not as a first reflex. A vague offer does not become clear by becoming cheaper. Check the named problem, the promised result, the moment you target and the format, then fix one of them at a time.

**How do I know if it is my offer or my visibility?**

If people book calls and ask questions but do not sign, visibility works and the offer is the issue. If nobody contacts you at all, start with your presence and how people discover you.
